What should a school site do when a parent provides a copy of a private assessment or independent educational evaluation ("IEE")?

If parents provide a school with a copy of a independent educational evaluation (IEE) the school must review the IEE. The school does not have to accept the recommendations made on the evaluation but it must be considered when making decisions with respect to providing the student with a free appropriate education (FAPE). (Morin, 2014).
